Freeport, Bahamas - Certified mechanic, Johnathan Smith, on Monday, May 23, presented a copy of his book, How to Extend Your Car Life to Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Dr. Michael Darville.  Mr. Smith said he was inspired to write this book because he wants people to make an informed decision when purchasing a car, and assist women to find a good mechanic without feeling intimidated.

He believes that this small, but compact, book will equip everyone with the knowledge needed because included is information on car, road and personal safety.   Minister Darville applauded Mr. Smith for writing the book, which is he said, can be used effectively by all road users.   Shown is Minister Darville, left, receiving the book from Mr. Smith.   (BIS Photo/Vandyke Hepburn)
