Minister Henfield receives courtesy call from H.E. Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to advise members of the public that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Darren A. Henfield, MP and, the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil, H.E. Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins met on 28th June, 2021.
During the meeting, both parties acknowledged the well-established friendship and bilateral support between the two countries. Minister Henfield thanked Brazil for its support during the aftermath of hurricane Dorian and assistance in the form of medical supplies to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
Matters of mutual interest were also discussed, specifically bilateral and multilateral technical cooperation. Such cooperation includes educational opportunities, agricultural technology and maritime commerce.
Both sides also agreed on to continue the deepening of relations, in which a technical meeting will be held during the course of the year.
