The Minister of Labour, Senator the Hon. “In order for The Bahamas to compete in the global arena it is essential that our productivity is increased in both the public and private sectors,” said Minister Foulkes.

The Labour Minister continued, “It is vital that we give focused attention to this topic of ‘National Productivity’ as we strive to increase our economic growth. The Government cannot achieve this goal by itself, therefore I congratulate the organizers of this workshop from the Department of Labour as well as President Ferguson and the Executives of TUC and President Evans and the Executives of the NCTU and CEO Sumner of The Chamber for their unwavering support in promoting and encouraging Social Dialogue and the utilization of the National Tripartite Council in our national development”.
