*CURRENT NUMBER OF CONFIRMED, SUSPECTED & RECORDED CASES IN THE BAHAMAS: 5

*CURRENT NUMBER OF QUARANTINED PERSONS: 4

*CURRENT NUMBER OF PERSONS RELEASED FROM QUARANTINE: 38


*CURRENT NUMBER OF RECOVERED CASES 103,334

*CURRENT NUMBER OF DEATHS 17,454

Recommendations to prevent the spread of The Novel Coronavirus include:

Frequent, proper hand washing and use of hand sanitizer;
Covering the mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, preferably with the elbow and sleeve;
Thoroughly cooking meat and eggs;
Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces and objects; and Avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and
sneezing
