PUBLIC TREASURY DEPARTMENT
 FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA
VENDOR PAYMENTS by DIRECT DEPOSIT

The Public Treasury Department of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas will be conducting a new vendor verification exercise in preparation for the implementation of its Payments by Direct Deposit in July 2020. This will affect payments to all individuals and businesses who provide goods and services to government agencies in Grand Bahama.

As the Treasury streamlines its services to offer electronic payments it is mandatory for all its vendors to enroll in this exercise. Failure to comply will result in the disruption of payment.

All payments will be made by direct deposit as of July 2020 and vendors will receive an email notification when funds are transferred to their bank accounts.
