National Arts Festival Holds Workshop Session for Exuma Teachers

MOSS TOWN, Exuma, The Bahamas -  The E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, held a workshop session for Exuma teachers at the L. N. Coakley High School, in Moss Town.  It was an opportunity for the team, led by Senior Cultural Officer Sonovia Pierre, to listen to concerns from the educators, as well as give pointers as to what is expected in the various disciplines for next year.  Among those making presentations were Drama Adjudicator and Cultural Icon Philip Burrows, Dance Adjudicator and Cultural Icon Lawrence Carroll, Music Adjudicator Trent Elliott Davis, Arts and Crafts Co-Adjudicator and National Art Gallery of the Bahamas Community Outreach Officer Abby Smith, and Exuma District Education Superintendent Pamela Gorte.  (BIS Photos/Eric Rose)
