Office of the Prime Minister on on Amendments to Lockdown Orders

The Office of the Prime Minister wishes to advise that in accordance with the Emergency Powers (COVID-19 Pandemic) (Management and Recovery) (North Andros, Central Andros and Cat Island Lockdown) (Amendment) Order, 2021, the following is in immediate effect:

• The administration and sitting of national exams approved by the Ministry of Education are permitted.

• Gas stations are permitted to operate on Thursdays and Fridays from 6am to 6pm during the lockdown period on North Andros, Central Andros and Cat Island.

• The harvesting of crabs is prohibited during the lockdown period on North Andros and Central Andros.


Further, in accordance with the Emergency Powers (COVID-19 Pandemic) (Management and Recovery) (Bullocks Harbour and Great Harbour Cay Lockdown) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 2021, the following is in immediate effect:

• The administration and sitting of national exams approved by the Ministry of Education are permitted.

• Gas stations are permitted to operate on Thursdays and Fridays from 6am to 6pm during the lockdown period on Bullocks Harbour and Great Harbour Cay.

• The harvesting of crabs is prohibited during the lockdown period on Bullocks Harbour and Great Harbour Cay.


The full Amendment Orders will be published on opm.gov.bs.
