The public is advised that the following measures have been implemented as a result of safety measures following confirmed cases of COVID-19. These measures are being implemented in the best interest of safety for patients, staff and the general public.

Access to the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH)

  • Ambulances are to access the hospital via the Maternity Entrance
  • Patients and Visitors are asked to enter the hospital through the new Critical Care Block entrance where they will be directed appropriately.  All Maternity patients including maternity day cases are asked to access the hospital via the Maternity Entrance.
  • Only Dialysis patients will be permitted to use the Medical Block entrance.  Dialysis patients are asked to present for service at their designated time.
  • All staff are asked to access the hospital via the hospital Legacy entrance.  Staff are required to wear their ID badge at all times.

The PHA thanks the public for their support during this time.  Further announcements and updates on hospital services will be disseminated as it becomes necessary.
