Both parties committed to continuing the deepening of relations all the while awaiting the return of face-to-face encounters.

While the presentation of the Copie d’Usage will allow High Commissioner-Designate Peiris to undertake activities at the functional level, he will present his Letters of Commission formally to the Governor-General at a later date and, thus, take on his full capacity as diplomatic envoy to The Bahamas.
