Prime Minister the Hon. Philip Davis took Oath Yesterday; Will be Presented Instruments of Office Today

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Honourable Philip Edward Davis, Q.C.,MP was sworn in as Prime Minister of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas in a private ceremony at the offices of The Governor General, One Montague Place, East Bay Street, Nassau, New Providence shortly before 1:00pm on September 17, 2021. Prime Minister Davis will be presented his Instruments of Office in ceremonies today, September 18. Deputy Prime Minister designate Mr. I Chester Cooper, Member of Parliament Elect, will be sworn in as a cabinet minister today.
