Promising students rewarded with laptops

Nassau, The Bahamas - Minister of National Security the Hon. Marvin Dames and Director of Education Marcellus Taylor applauded President and CEO of Electro Telecom Limited Paul Smith, and his company, for encouraging Bahamian students by awarding laptops to promising scholars for more than 15 years.  Mr. Smith and his company, during an official ceremony at the Paul Farquharson Conference Centre, June 12, 2019 presented laptops to the most improved students of 24 schools on New Providence, and 19 laptops to the most outstanding students at schools on Exuma, Cat Island and San Salvador.  (BIS Photos / Eric Rose)
