Nassau, Bahamas -  Demonstrating its commitment to the eradication of gender-based violence in The Bahamas, the government took another step in strengthening its social policy and building its capacity to effectively address this social menace when a Bahamian delegation recently participated in a training course in the Prevention of Gender-based Violence co-sponsored by the US Embassy and the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA). A good cross-section of the public service was represented at the training course which was held in San Salvador, El Salvador from the 24th to 28th March, 2014. Today, the participants were presented with their official certificates at a brief ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Cable Beach, Nassau.
