Rhythm & Youth Rake N’ Scrape Band Off to New York to Participate in Concert

NASSAU, The Bahamas – The Minister of Education, Science and Technology the Hon. Jerome Fitzgerald bid farewell to The Rhythm & Youth Rake N’ Scrape Band of the Bahamas Rake N’ Scrape Company, October 6, as they prepared to depart Lynden Pindling International Airport for New York, where they will participate in a concert presented by the Bahamian American Cultural Society.

The students, aged five to sixteen, represented nine schools from throughout New Providence. Nathaniel Adams, a Music teacher of Gerald Cash Primary School, led the contingent.
