NASSAU, The Bahamas - Former Member of Parliament, the late Mr. Earl Thompson, Sr. lies in state in the Foyer of the House of Assembly, Parliament Square, today. Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Marguerite Pindling paid her respects this morning. There will be a State-Recognized Funeral for Mr. Thompson at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral on Friday morning, October 5, with interment at the Monastic Cemetery at St. Augustine's.
