The Tourism Readiness and Recovery Committee (led by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association) will unveil the proposed plan for re-entry into the tourism market on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
Led by Joy Jibrilu, Director General, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, the press conference will include the following co-chairs of the Tourism Readiness and Recovery Committee: Vernice Walkine, Vice-President, Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) and CEO & President, Nassau Airport Development Co. Ltd; Stuart Bowe, Immediate Past President, BHTA & Sr. VP and GM Hotel Operations, Atlantis; Robert 'Sandy' Sands, Sr. VP, BHTA and SVP of Government & Community Relations, Baha Mar; and Carlton Russell, President, BHTA & VP Operations, Atlantis.
