The Bahamas Development Bank in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister Grand Bahama and Mr. Patrick Rahming & Associates will host a two and a half-day Workshop, which is intended to increase the quantity of attractions throughout Grand Bahama.

The Workshop will be held on November 1st -3rd, 2018 at the Grand Lucayan Hotel. We are delighted with our lineup of presenters, who are experts in tourism, financial services, insurance, and other successful entrepreneurs.

We were elated with the remarkable turnout at our first workshop held September 13th & 14th, 2018. Given the overwhelming success and positive feedback of the New Providence session, as well as the recent purchase of the Grand Lucayan Hotel by the Government of the Bahamas, this workshop presents a timely opportunity for entrepreneurs in Grand Bahama.

The attendees will be introduced to the many areas of tourism attractions that can be developed and how they may start a business in those areas. They will also be given a broad overview of the Bahamas tourism product, and the target markets and alliances needed to successfully operate in the current economic environment.

The Bahamas Development Bank will provide access to affordable loans once qualified candidates applicants to secure resources sufficient to start their tourism business.
