United States Memorial Day Ceremonies at Clifton Memorial Site

NASSAU, The Bahamas - Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling, Governor General, was in attendance during the United States of America Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 28, at the Clifton Memorial site, Clifton Pier.  Royal Bahamas Defence Force gave a Gun Salute during the ceremony, and released wreaths.   Wreaths adorn the Clifton Pier Monument in honour of fallen military heroes.  Among the United States and Bahamian officials, and friends and family, are in front row, from left: Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling; US Embassy Charge d'Affaires Stephanie Bowers; National Security Minister Marvin Dames; Foreign Affairs Minister Darren Henfield; Leader of the Opposition Philip Davis; and Ingrid Lady Darling.  (BIS Photos/Patrick Hanna)
