NASSAU, The Bahamas - The National Youth Leaders Certification Programme (YLCP) held a Meet and Greet-styled Orientation, on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the National Sports Authority.  Along with a full cadre of attendees, 18 Youth Leaders from the Family Islands joined in via Zoom.  Joining Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture Permanent Secretary Eugene Poitier in attendance, and giving remarks, were Under Secretary Montez Williams; Head of the Division of Youth Sandena Neely; YLCP Program Coordinator Youth Officer Lauren-Ashley Heastie; and past YLCP participants Catharine Archer and Terrance Outten. The program will commence in a virtual format on March 1, 2022.  Another cohort is slated to begin on later in the Fall.  Interested people are encouraged to please follow the Division of Youth 242 on Facebook, to stay up to date with all of its events, programmes and activities.  (BIS Photos/Eric Rose)
