NASSAU, The Bahamas - Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis paid respects today, August 24, at the Lie-in-State of former Governor General, Deputy Prime Minister, Cabinet Minister, and Parliamentarian the late, the Most Hon. Arthur Dion Hanna at the House of Assembly. Also paying respects were leaders and representatives of all branches of government, and officials, who signed the Book of Condolence. The body lies in state for public viewing today and tomorrow. A State Funeral will be held at Church Cathedral on Thursday, August 26, with interment at St. Matthew's Cemetery.
