Bahamas wins Miss Spicy Caribbean

Miss Spicy Caribbean 2015 took place last weekend in Barbados and University of West Indies student Emma Tulletta represented The Bahamas and won! She also took Best Swimsuit and Miss Photogenic.

Other contestants were Miss Antigua & Barbuda: Ashley Forde; Miss Barbados: Leann Paris; Miss Belize: Chinyere Wade; Miss Grenada: Reann Edwards; and Miss St. Lucia: Chenic Smith.

Twenty-year old Tulleta is an honour roll student and majoring in psychology.

“When the Association of Bahamian Students on campus approached me explaining that I would be an amazing candidate for the event, I was instantly excited, and with that I accepted the offer,” Emma told Tribune Woman."

“Managing my studies and preparing for the pageant was challenging. On some nights I had three practices back to back, but I had to stay organised and complete my assignments in order of priority."

She hopes to serve as a role model to other young women.
