WE’RE BACK – Gea Pierre and the Crazy Love 2 cast is coming to the Regency Theatre for three nights indisputable crazy February 3-5.

Freeport, Bahamas - Grand Bahama, it’s going to get two times the crazy soon. Out of the Ashes Entertainment is about to roll out another dose of high-drama, scandalicious laughter with Crazy Love 2 at the Regency Theatre on February 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Last year, the original production, Crazy Love, stole the audience’s hearts with seven sold-out performances and one encore show in Grand Bahama and another six in New Providence.

That raw, energetic, hard-hitting and infectious performance played out on stage at the Love Boutique won the cast and crew the 2016 Bahamian Icon Award for Best Live Ensemble.

It’s no secret why writer and producer Gea Pierre brought the play back for another ride with some new cast members, characters and fresh stories of joy, pain, triumph, heartbreak and the crazy of love, yet still holding true that unique brand of humor the audience is naturally grown accustomed to.

But Pierre, her director, the legendary thespian Patrice Johnson and co-producer Remardo Russell, who plays Barber, Keisha’s one and only eye candy, would be quick to tell you not to look for a repeat of Part 1 as the impressive 16-member cast has a whole different story for you, including Mark Gardiner’s character, Craig, who is not with his wife.

“My goal is to leave the audience undecided. To gravel with who or what do you believe and to challenge your thinking and the process of love,” Pierre said. “Just go into it with a fresh, open mind and enjoy it for what it is.”

As for any encore shows for Grand Bahama this time around, Pierre is leaving the door open, especially since the weekend is already sold out.

“That’s left to be seen. You never know, it could be confined to the three days depending on audience response, or we could take it further. All that is up to the audience — if we continue the love affair with Crazy Love. If not, we could close up shop after the three days.”

A date for a New Providence Crazy Love 2 showdown is still being finalized.
