Fowlco appoints Burrows to key maritime role

Freeport, The Bahamas — Fowlco Limited announces the appointment of Lasard Burrows to the position of Operations Manager Port, Vessel & Agency for Fowlco Marine and Logistics Management. 

Burrows brings a level of innovative ideas and wealth of knowledge to his new leadership role.  His appointment further positions Fowlco to maintain its commitment to deliver exceptional customer service to Bahamian and international clientele.

Glennett Fowler, president and CEO of Fowlco reflects, “Exemplary leadership skills and a commitment to excellence are hallmarks of Lasard’s contributions to Fowlco.  As a result of this foundation, we are pleased to announce his appointment to the role of Operations Manager Port, Vessel & Agency, with immediate effect.  This appointment aligns with our strategic goals to cultivate and promote a culture of excellence within our organization.” The company’s president continued, “Lasard’s professionalism is evident in his strong work ethic and intrinsic ambition, that are celebrated traits within the Fowlco community.”

Burrows holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York (SUNY) Maritime College.  His academic background and professional experiences will prove invaluable in his new role.  As Operations Manager, Burrows assumes responsibility for vessel related activities, adhering to local and international safety protocols, leading his staff, and liaising with other port entities on behalf of customers.
