Freeport, Bahamas - Get ready Grand Bahama! The Go-Trade Business Expo 2013 is coming to Freeport on Saturday, October 26th at the Sir Jack Hayward High School gymnasium and grounds. Be sure to come to learn and see all that Grand Bahama Island has to offer in one-stop at the biggest and best business / trade expo.

The event will feature a FAMILY day of networking, face painting for the kids, a bouncing castle, live Dora and Spongebob etc. while at the same time gaining insightful information and knowledge about how to brand and market your business on a domestic and international level as well as attaining advice on making your business more profitable. The registration fee for the event is $75.  The event takes place October 26th, 2013 and expected to draw an audience of 500 - 1,000 attendees

Our key objectives for this event are:

a) To showcase businesses and their services to the community

b) To connect the business owners together and foster long-term relationships

c) To show business owners how they can take their local products and services to a global marketplace

d) To teach talented and skilled individuals how to market their income-earning ventures

e) To create an environment for networking on a personal level between business owners and their consumers

CEO Nareca Swann commented on the event saying "I'm so excited to be launching this event on Grand Bahama Island. It will encompass a wide variety of business information  give businesses a chance to show of their products and services and allow business owners to learn about how to improve their business and expand their brand."

"We've signed up some of the major companies on the Island and we're also anticipating international guests; but what's all that work without fun. Just for the parent's we'll have a free bouncing castle, face-painting, and live characters like Dora and Spongebob. It's the perfect family get-together for fun and well as personal and financial improvement learning"

"We specifically choose to host this event in October as we celebrate youth month and the empowering of the young people of our Island and also because it's mid-term and families would be more free to participate. This event has it all; excellent business networking for the adults and a whole lot of fun for the kids. We anticipate the full support of the Grand Bahamian community!"

The Go-Trade team is comprised of Sheanda Cooper-Rolle (legal advisor), Joyanne Roache (VP Marketing), Dadawn Charlton-Pinder (Fashion & Event Coordinator), Nathaniel P. Lewis (VP Branding & Media Relations); Derek Carroll (Graphics); and media partners TheBahamasWeekly.com.
