Minister for Grand Bahama Dr. Michael Darville revealed that the government is bringing long term solution to age old problems affecting the people of Grand Bahama in its effort to make Grand Bahama grand again.

He pointed out that his ministry was created by the Rt, Honourable Perry G. Christie, Prime Minister, specifically for Grand Bahama to ensure that the residents, especially those living in the outlying settlements, receive maximum benefits from government initiatives.

The signing and groundbreaking of the West Grand Bahama Junior High School, Minister Darville noted, is another example of the government’s promise to doubling its investment in education.

“As minister for Grand Bahama, I’m excited to be a part of this wonderful movement in history to celebrate in this momentous occasion with the people of West Grand Bahama and to be a part of this administration that is moving Grand Bahama forward, onward and stronger,” Minister Darville said.
