Freeport, Grand Bahama Island -
Over 100 Franchisees
and Operators from every Wendy's territory in the LAC (Latin America and
Caribbean) Region, plus 20 representatives of the fast food chain's
biggest suppliers sailed in to Grand Bahama today (November 4th) to tour
Wendy's recently opened $2 million dollar flagship restaurant in Grand Bahama
on McKenzie and Pioneers Way.
Wendy's food chain is presently holding its
Wendy's 2014 LAC Regional Meeting on the NCL's Norwegian Sky under the theme,
"Our Commitment To Growth."
During the tour in Grand Bahama a Bahamian cultural Junkanoo Rushout took place as the visitors, tourists and locals looked on.
The group will sail next to Nassau where on Wednesday November 5th they will tour the
revolutionary Y-Lane
Wendy's
store on Carmichael Road (West) at 12:30pm.
Hosting the cruise is Mr. Darrell van Ligten, President of Wendy's International Division and Mr. Carlos Ribas, V.P. and Managing Director, LAC Region.
Bahamian hosts are Mr. Chris Tsavoussis, President, Wendy's Bahamas and Mr. Terry Tsavoussis, Vice President, Wendy's Bahamas.
