WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Travel agents, travel industry partners,
business professionals, members of the media, as well as a number of Bahamians
living in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) enjoyed a “Bahama
Party in Da Backyard” organized by the Bahamas Tourist Office (BTO) in
Washington, D.C., on Monday, April 3, 2017.
Held at Oxon Hill Manor in Oxon
Hill, Maryland, near Washington, D.C., the event showcased Bahamian food,
drinks, music and culture. Entertainment included Ira Storr and the Spank Band,
Geno E., Juice Unit, and the Atlanta Junkanoo Group.
The event was co-sponsored
by Courvoisier, Eastern Motors and the Pure Media Group.
