13 yr old wins Face of the Bahamas model search competition

Angel Culmer, a 13 year old Nassau teen has beat out 16 other local beauties to capture the first ever 'Fashion Face of the Bahamas' title at the John Watling's great house in Nassau on Sunday night.

The event, hosted by Profiles98 Magazine in conjunction with Saint International (Jamaica) Ltd, was the culmination of an intensive two day workshop, where the contestants were groomed, trained and primed for the grand finale' on Sunday night.

Coming in second place was Tarea Sturrup 18, while Kelly Pierre 17 placed third.  All three of the top winners will be signed to Saint International model management and will represent the Bahamas at the Fashion Face of the Caribbean model search in Kingston, Jamaica in March 2015.

Saint International's Founder and CEO Dewight Peters who was in Nassau for the event was so impressed with the caliber of models that he named the top five candidates, then announced the top three winners. The other two contestants rounding out the final five were: Ereisha Mackey  17 and Carroll Stubbs 23.

Also on hand for the event serving as judge, trainer and MC for the model search were model/dancer Khadija Nicholas the Face of Pharrell WIlliams new  Marilyn Monroe single cover and Walter Greene, Fashion Editorial DIrector, Profiles98 Magazine.
