Nassau, Bahamas – Jamaal Rolle, The Celebrity Artist famous for his life-like portraits, was commissioned by The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism to complete and present a portrait to H.E., Ambassador Andrew J. Young, who was a special guest of the Myles Munroe International Global Leadership Conference that was held recently in Freeport, Grand Bahama. When Ambassador Young received his portrait, he said, “It was lovely,” and Rolle took the opportunity to thank Ambassador Young for being an inspiration to him and others.

Andrew J. Young is a former Ambassador to the UN, a former mayor of Atlanta, and a famous civil rights activist. He was also a friend and lieutenant to Martin Luther King. On November 9, 2014, Ambassador Young, also a pastor, lost his good friends, the late Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife Ruth Munroe in a plane crash on the evening of the 2014 Myles Munroe International Global Leadership Conference that was being held in Freeport, Grand Bahama. He reflected on his friendship with Dr. Munroe and his wife and the work that they have done for The Bahamas and the world.

Earlier in 2014, Jamaal Rolle was commissioned by Julian and Ana Smith of Bahamas Faith Ministries(BFM) to complete an oil painting of their pastor, Dr. Myles Munroe, as a 60th Birthday present to their pastor.
