Canadian Defence Attaché pays Courtesy Call

Coral Harbour Base, (RBDF) - Colonel Jacques O'Keefe, Canadian Defence Attaché West Indies of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force paid a courtesy call on Acting Commander Defence Force, Captain Raymond King at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Headquarters on January 13, 2020.

During the visit, Colonel O’Keefe and Captain King discussed matters of mutual interests and he was also given a brief tour of the base. Also in attendance at the meeting were several members of the Defence Force’s Command Team. To culminate the visit, both parties exchanged pleasantries.

Colonel Jacques O’Keefe obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Concordia University and a Master of Science degree in Defence Technology at Cranfield University. Having served in many notable capacities in his military career, he has also earned himself the Chief of Defence Staff Commendation and also the NATO Meritorious Service Medal in 2018.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force values its international partners and will continue to do its part in safeguarding our nation.
