FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY:
My favorite thing  about my country is our amazing history. We as Bahamians derive from a very harsh time in the world. Out of that severe part of history a proud and prestigious people grew. We are always warm, happy and eager to progress and elevate ourselves.

LIFE’S AMBITIONS:
My life’s ambition is to become a successful fashion designer and brand name. I have a true love and passion for the art of design. I also wish to invest and develop organizations and brands geared towards helping young girls to grow and develop into strong, intelligent, and driven women.

HOBBIES:
There is nothing that I enjoy more than reading. It has always been a passion of mine. I always have a book in my purse. I have a love for baking and cooking. And I love makeup artistry.

MY GOALS IN LIFE:
My goal in life is to be successful in the fashion industry. Which will allow me to create avenues and platforms to start an organization. This will provide for young girls across the world camps on self love and inner and outer health.

MY BEST ASSET IS:
My passion for everything I do. Any and everything I want to purse, I go at it 100%. I become engulfed in it and put my heart and all into making it successful.

MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS:
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Without this concept I would surely be in a different state of mind about life. When I feel like things are not happening fast enough I say this to myself regularly. That way I can stay positive and keep pushing forward.

THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
It may seem silly but that movie would be Mulan. Based on a true story; it’s about a girl who took life into her own hands and decided she wanted to be more than what her family chose for her. She became a solider dressed like a man to protect her father who was unfit to fight. She is the prime example that as women we can be and do anything we put our minds to.

WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY
Someone I would love to meet is one of my favorite writers, Sister Souljah. Real name Lisa Williamson, she has inspired me in so many ways. She showed me what it means to be a proud woman of color. Her novels are always very deep in layers. You get a true insight into multiple personalities and cultures. I would love to speak to her just so that I can soak up so of her infinite knowledge. I’d love to get a suggested reading list from her. She’s a fellow book lover like myself.

I AM MOTIVATED BY:
My family. Everything I do is because of them. Without them I wouldn’t be who I am. I strive to be a huge influence to my brothers so that they know they can do anything they put their minds and hearts to.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME IS:
I’m one of the silliest and happiest people alive! I love to laugh and. Make others laugh. I am a firm believer that life is way too short to be so serious all the time.

MY COMMUNITY SERVICE/ACHIEVEMENTS ARE:
I volunteer at girl power in Miami fl. Along with my agency we visit young girls and speak to them about unity and sisterhood between each other. It is important for young girls to understand that we should love one another so that they can spread that same sense of love and unity through the world.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS:

EYE COLOR: Dark Brown
HEIGHT: 5’7″
WEIGHT: 115lbs
BUST:  32
WAIST: 24

FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY:
Aside from being rich in history and culture, I highly favor and value the freedom that we as Bahamians have and the unity that we express. In being the smallest, but one of the most wealthy and prosperous countries in The Caribbean has proven the strength that we hold as a people in moving our country forward._

LIFE’S AMBITIONS:
My life’s ambition is to live a fulfilling life, by attempting or achieving my goals. As we only have one life to live, I don’t ever want to regret not doing what I really desire or making an attempt to do so.

HOBBIES:
My hobbies are running, singing, cooking, listening to music, water sporting activities, travelling and spending time with loved ones.

MY GOALS IN LIFE:
I’ve just recently graduated the College of The Bahamas with my bachelor’s degree in tourism management. My goal is to be employed with the Ministry of Tourism or another entity in marketing to find even newer ways of attracting persons to The Bahamas.

MY BEST ASSET IS:
My character is my best asset. It’s who I am, my beliefs, my actions. My character makes me unique and is one of the fundamental things that separates me from another person.

MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS:
Live like there’s no tomorrow. Don’t live life in fear of what others think, you would be doing an injustice to yourself by existing for their sake and not living for yours

THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
My favorite movie is Disney’s animated film, The Lion King. I watched this movie for the first time at 6 years old and it has left and imprint on my mind through the life lessons I acquired from it. I took away strength, the importance of family and fulfilling your purpose, lessons I’ve acquired at a young age that have managed to stick with me through to my adult years.

WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY:
Some of the greatest films that has had a tremendous impact on my life over the years are classic Disney Films. It was in many of these films such as The Lion King, Cinderella and Bambi that I retained and symbolized qualities of strength, bravery, loyalty and the importance of family. Aside from this, I am in awe of the impact the creation of Disneyland has had on the world and in tourism the tourism industry attracting well over 100 million visitors per year. The person I would most like to meet is Walt Disney, the creative business mind that made the Disney brand into a worldwide wonder.

I AM MOTIVATED BY:
Life itself. In order to live life, you must first have it. Being able, motivates me in pursuing my goals.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME IS:
For the past year I’ve been the face of the inaugural Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Festival dawning a beautiful blue Sea Goddess costume designed and created by Percy “Vola” Francis (a cultural junkanoo living legend). This opportunity has afforded me to travel with the Ministry of Tourism alongside the Bahamas National Festival Commission to different countries and states in the U.S.A promoting this event and representing the Bahamas. The Sea Goddess image was also used to cover the telephone directory (one of the largest publications in the Bahamas), on local calling cards and was seen on billboards around the U.S, Canada, in airports, highways and train stations. This opportunity along with successfully completing my college career has provided a year of wonderful experiences and fulfillment especially in persons commending and being encouraged by my work ethic and humility.
