Pineapple Air and Avvy Bahamas announce Partnership

Nassau, Bahamas – Locally owned Pineapple Air announced today that it has partnered with Bahamian musician, Avvy Bahamas, effective May 1st, 2014. A press conference was held this morning at The Sir Lynden Pindling International Airport to discuss the benefits of this partnership.

By partnering with Avvy Bahamas, Pineapple Air expects to revamp its brand and widen its customer base between Nassau, Bahamas and Eleuthera, Bahamas.

As of May 1st Pineapple Air will announce their "Sweet Deals" between Nassau and Eleuthera.

"It's good to see companies supporting Bahamian music," said Avvy who wrote the Pineapple Air rake n scrape jingle which states, "Pineapple Air will get you there, the sweetest way to fly..."

The company also expects to purchase additional aircrafts and extend its operation’s coverage.

About Pineapple Air  In 1999, Pineapple Air received permission to operate a Charter Company throughout the beautiful Islands of the Bahamas and the Caribbean, and gradually built a first-class reputation for efficient service coupled with reasonable rates.

Pineapple Air today has a staff of 18, which includes some of the finest pilots of the Bahamas and a fleet of four planes, of which are19-seaters.

Avvy Bahamas is a songwriter and performer contributing to the art of Bahamian folk music, also Junkanoo and Rake-and-scrape. He received accolades for reviving native Bahamian music with innovative storytelling, upbeat rhythms and energetic performances. He’s well known for hit songs such as "Roach on my Bread" and "Ghost Move". Avvy’s latest album will be released on May 27th, 2014. The album includes hits such as “Dirty Nagua Rake” and “Swing”.
