Prime Minister spends Christmas with the troops

Coral Harbour Base, (RBDF) - Prime Minister the Right Honorable Hubert Minnis visited the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and Police troops to spend the Christmas Day holiday with them at the RBDF Base in Abaco.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were the Honorable Darren Henfield, MP for North Abaco, Captain Raymond King, Acting Commander Defence Force and Mrs. Patricia Minnis. After inspecting  the troops, the Prime Minister assisted in serving Christmas meals to the men and women.

Prime Minister Minnis also used the opportunity to commend the leaders on the ground - Commander Michael Simmons and Assistant Commissioner of Police Delancey for their leadership in the hurricane relief efforts. He also thanked the troops for their commendable tasks in the restoration of the island.
