RBDF Unveils Plans for 40th Anniversary during Media Meet & Greet

Coral Harbour Base, (RBDF): The Royal Bahamas Defence Force unveil events in observance of the organization’s 40th anniversary celebrations during a Media Meet & Greet on February 4th at the Coral Harbour Base.

Also in attendance were the Acting Commander Defence Force, Captain Raymond King along with his Command Team and Heads of Departments. Captain King addressed the media and spoke on several initiatives the organization is currently embarking on. As he entertained questions, he also assured those in attendance that the RBDF’s platform remains the protection of the territorial integrity of The Bahamas.

Under the theme, “Beyond the Horizon, Into the Future with 40 Years of Guarding Our Heritage”, the anniversary committee led by Chairperson Commander Shonedel Pinder spoke on several events planned for the year. The force launches its official celebrations with its Annual Church Service 13 March, 2020, and throughout the calendar year will be hosting numerous events for the Officers and Marines and the wider community.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains committed to patrolling our borders and protecting the territorial integrity of The Bahamas.
