The Ministry and Department
of Education wish to inform the residents of Exuma, Cat Island, San Salvador,
and Rum Cay that school will close at 12noon today until further notice. School
administrators, teachers and school staff will take directives from their
respective District Superintendents and we will advise parents and students
when children are to return to school.
We encourage the public to listen to newscasts
and to also refer to the Ministry of Educations Facebook page for additional
updates.
