Water & Sewerage Corporation Commissions 2 New Water Tanker Trucks for Long Island

1,500 gallon  water tanker trucks to be put to immediate use on Long Island

The two  trucks are part of ongoing and widespread improvements being made to the water supply system around the country including on Cat Island, San Salvador Long Island,  Andros and New Providence as well, all facilitated in part by funding provided by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB)

As part of its commitment to quality and growth, Bahamians can continue to expect improvement works to progress quickly across various communities around the country. The Corporation's Chairman Leslie Miller, pictured along with senior officials of the executive board has instructed senior management to expedite works to ensure that all Bahamians have access to safe, and healthy water supply.
