The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top sales awards, business development awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.

BTC was one of just two Caribbean companies recognized at the awards ceremony which some liken to the Oscars of the business world. Being recognised at a global level is considered a significant achievement for BTC, Gershan Major and his Corporate and Enterprise team, as Finalists in their categories included Cisco Systems, Wyndham and Marriott Vacation Club. More than 1,900 nominations from organisations of all sizes, in over 54 categories and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition, an increase of 27% over 2014. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 139 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges. Gershan Major noted that this was a tremendous win for BTC and a significant team honour for the dedicated sales and support professionals of his BTC Business Solutions Team, who he is so very proud of.

The awards recognise BTC’s use of the ValueSelling Framework® and the demonstrable impact it has had on its engagements with its Corporate and Enterprise customers. BTC engaged the award winning sales training professionals for their Business Enterprise team two years ago to help sharpen their sales management skills in order to deliver an improved level of customer satisfaction. On completion of the training, Gershan Major said that the Business Enterprise sales team was more knowledgeable and now better equipped at providing more customized and value-based business solutions to its business customers across all industries. All BTC team members are certified by AVIA and CISCO.
