CWC Veteran to Speak at BTC Business Expo

Nassau, New Providence - The Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited, (BTC) will host a Business Expo on July 14th at British Colonial Hilton. Paul Kirwan, a thirty five (35) year veteran in global telecommunications, will be the guest speaker at the event.

Kirwan will speak on the topic “Connecting Businesses to Evolution,” focusing on network footprints and how it enables the delivery of advanced business solutions. BTC SVP of Business Solutions, Chris Mayer commented, “As businesses evolve, so does their need for new and innovative products and services. We will be bringing our business community together to share some new developments within the space. We will have our partners like Huawei and Fortinet there to share new solutions. This expo, will be valuable to all of our customers from our small businesses, all the way up to our large enterprise customers.”

Paul Kirwan has held a wide range of positions in network operations, customer service and sales. He has worked around the world in areas like the Middle East, UK, Europe, Bermuda and the United States. Kirwan has spearheaded the technical integration of the CWC international assets with Columbus Networks and is responsible for ongoing operations and maintenance. C&W Networks operate the most extensive submarine cable network throughout the Caribbean and Central American Region.

The BTC Business Expo is expected to attract all sectors of business customers including finance, hospitality, government and small businesses.
