Cuban Ambassador Pays Farewell Call on Bahamas Opposition Leader

Nassau, Bahamas - Cuban Ambassador H.E. Ernesto Soberón Guzmán bid farewell to Opposition Leader, the Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis during a courtesy call at the Opposition Leader’s No. 20 Parliament Street office on Thursday, September 10, 2015.

Ambassador Guzmán thanked Dr. Minnis for his support and he noted the cooperative relationship between Cuba and The Bahamas.  Describing The Bahamas as Cuba’s ‘nearest neighbour’ Ambassador Guzmán said he thoroughly enjoyed his three-year tenure in The Bahamas.  

Dr. Minnis presented Ambassador ’Guzmán with the book, “I Come To Get Me”, a colourful story of Junkanoo in The Bahamas by Arlene Nash-Ferguson.
