State Recognized Funeral for Dr. Myles Munroe & Pastor Ruth Ann Munroe: Open to the General Public

Nassau, Bahamas - The Cabinet Office of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas has announced that a State Recognized Funeral will be held for Dr. Myles Egbert Munroe O.B.E and his wife Pastor Ruthann Munroe on Thursday December 4th 2014 at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center on Carmichael Road beginning at 10:00am.

The funeral will be open to the general public to attend, however there will be reserved seating for the Family, Senior Government Officials, Bahamas Faith Ministries Members as well as Local and International Dignitaries. The general public is to be advised that there will be no invitations needed to attend the funeral as previously stated. All Bahamians and visitors alike are invited to attend. Special seating and tents will be provided on the grounds of Bahamas Faith Ministries for members of the public.

The bodies of Dr. Myles Munroe and Pastor Ruth Ann Munroe will lie in Repose at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center on Wednesday December 3RD from 10: Noon to 5:00pm. However a private ceremony will be held from 10:00am to 12: Noon with members of the Family and Senior Government Officials. Members of the public are invited to pay their respects beginning at 12: Noon to 5:00pm and are welcomed to sign the book of condolence. There will be no public viewing.

A National Memorial is also scheduled to be held in honor of Dr. Myles Egbert Munroe O.B.E and his wife Pastor Ruthann Munroe on Wednesday December 3rd 2014 at The Thomas A. Robinson Stadium Oaks Field Sporting Complex in Nassau, Bahamas. The event is scheduled to start at 6:00pm with doors open for seating at 5:00pm. The event is open to the General Public and there is no admission or invitations needed to attend. There will however be reserved seating for the Family, Senior Government Officials, Bahamas Faith Ministries Members as well as Local and International Dignitaries.

The National Memorial is expected to attract a wide cross of Bahamians including visitors to the country and will feature a number of tributes and special music performances.
