Christian Newswire / -- JCTV, in partnership with PraiseFest Ministries, is set to produce – for the third season – the uniquely real reality show Cruise with a Cause. Cameras roll 24-7 as the JCTV film crew documents a ship full of Christians and the shows' hosts as they minister and vacation together around the island nation of the Bahamas.

Cruise with a Cause is totally unscripted, enabling viewers to share in the candid fun as the shows' hosts use treasured Christian principles to deal with The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Christian passengers provide a unique backdrop for audiences as they experience what happens on dry land when the shows' hosts set out to serve Christ by ministering to people from a different culture. Viewers will also enjoy a myriad of Christian musical guests and speakers who are onboard to provide entertainment to passengers.

"Cruise with a Cause is an exhilaratingly real reality show," says TBN's chief of staff, Paul Crouch, Jr. "Our TV personalities experience both joy and conflict as they apply their faith, and face the challenge of living within a tightly knit community. The show highlights how the experience of cross-cultural ministering can renew a sense of purpose about choosing to walk the Christian path through this life."

A cruise ship, it turns out, is as perfect a place for outreach ministering as any port of call. The JCTV-PraiseFest Cruise with a Cause partnership has been a great success: 5500 first-time decisions for Christ were made during the first and second seasons of the Bahaman Cruise with a Cause tour-cum-reality-show. Strong partnerships with long-term mission agencies and Bahaman churches have resulted in a sixty percent plus retention rate.

Season three of Cruise with a Cause sets sail out of Miami, Florida on October 6th (through October 10th, 2008). Cruise with a Cause season three will be ready to air at the end of 2008. Viewers, however, can watch the first two seasons now on JCTV. Visit jctv.org for listings and channel availability in your area.
