Coral Harbour Base, (RBDF):  In enforcing the latest Emergency Powers Order for COVID-19, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues the Blockade of New Providence and Paradise Island stepping up security efforts to ensure the safety of Bahamian residents.

Defence Force military vessels have established military presence with blockades to ensure the deterrence of maritime traffic of all inlets and water ways in and about the island of New Providence during the holiday weekend lockdown. RBDF Patrol craft HMBS KAMALAMEE under the command of Lieutenant James Cox along with Enduring Friendship P-127 and assets from the Harbour Patrol Unit, maintain operations at strategic posts to enforce these orders.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains committed to "Guarding our Heritage" as we continue efforts in the fight against COVID-19.
