Nassau, Bahamas - The Alliance Française des Bahamas, in conjunction with the Fondation Alliance Française in Paris, is holding a Photo Contest entitled "On Joue sur Terre" (Playing on Earth).
The Bahamas chapter will organise a local contest from October 1 – November 30, 2013. It will then submit its winner to the International contest in Paris.
Persons wishing to participate must be 18 years or older, amateur or semi-professional photographers, and either Bahamian or a legal residant of The Bahamas.
The goal is to showcase the various social and cultural functions of games in all possible settings (games, gambling, video games, outdoor games, children games, competitions etc. This photo contest will also provide an opportunity to discover the evolution of recreational practices worldwide. Photos entered in the local contest organised by the Alliance Française des Bahamas must represent games in The Bahamas.
