Japanese government offers scholarships to Bahamian students

The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan, continues to offer the Research (Graduate Studies) to Bahamians, commencing in the academic year 2017.    

 Applicants may download application forms and guidelines from our website at:  http://www.jamaica.emb-japan.go.jp/en/study-japan.html   Deadline for submission of application and supporting documents is May 19, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

It is our hope that the scholarship will assist the human resource development efforts of the Government of The Bahamas.  Also, we look forward to seeing closer exchanges and mutual understanding between our peoples through this Programme.

Therefore, we would be grateful if you could disseminate the information by kindly placing attached documents to this letter on your website or forwarding it to relevant organizations and interested groups.
