NASSAU, The Bahamas – Freeport, Grand Bahama is bracing itself for the Music, Model & Talent Showcase (Island MMTS), the new and exciting talent-scouting event uniquely designed to bring global attention to the vast talent pool in The Bahamas and the Caribbean.

According to Island MMTS CEO & Founder Pia Glover-Rolle, the support and participation to date has been overwhelming and phenomenal.

Island MMTS kicked off in New Providence on August 16, 2014 and moved on to Abaco on September 20. Auditions were also held in Belize on October 4, Suriname on October 18, and Anguilla on October 25; all attracting talented participants between the ages of 5 to 65, males and females.

Freeport auditions will be held on Saturday, November 8 at 12noon at the Sir Jack Hayward High School. Auditions are open to Models, Actors, Singers, Songwriters and Music Producers. Registration is required at IslandMMTS.com

CEO & Founder of Island MMTS Pia Glover-Rolle, of Nassau, The Bahamas says she’s overwhelmed by the support of the Caribbean Islands for this inaugural Island MMTS event.

Before a panel of judges and Island MMTS Regional Scout, applicants will be judged on:

· Modeling

· Singing

· Acting

· Music Production

· Song Writing

The successful applicant from each audition session, will be assigned a coach who will engage them in mandatory pre-conference training for the inaugural week-long Conference scheduled for July 13 to 19, 2015 at the Meliá Nassau Beach Resort on the new multi-billion Bahamian Riviera at Baha Mar.

The event is already buzzing in the ears of top international fashion and talent scouts, personal managers, casting directors, booking agents, record labels, modeling and talent agencies along with Grammy award winning producers and songwriters, who will judge MMTS competitions and conduct seminars; while searching for new and unique talents in these respective areas.

Additionally, agents from US, Europe, South Africa, China and Canada will spend a week in The Bahamas scouting new talent from the participating Caribbean islands, offering contracts and representation opportunities.

Some very recognizable names in the industry are already confirmed and excited to participate. There is great anticipation that the next big “star” will be discovered at MMTS 2015.

Some 34 countries including the Caribbean and The Bahama Islands have already confirmed their interest and participants. On board are: Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Croix, St. John, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Tortola, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, Grand Bahama, San Salvador, Cat Island, Bimini, Eleuthera, Abaco, Exuma and New Providence.

MMTS is being billed as a one-of-a-kind event for the islands, and is the only modeling and talent showcase in the world specifically targeting the Caribbean market. MMTS is the brainchild of Pia Glover-Rolle, who heads top Bahamian firm PTG Marketing and Modeling Agency, which has a proven track record of success in modeling, talent development and placement in the industry, both locally and internationally.

MMTS is poised to bring approximately 1,500 stopover visitors to Nassau from July 13 to 19, 2015.
