Successful candidates for Lifeguard and Aquatics Guide roles will be scheduled for a swim test at the YMCA, W Settlers Way, on Saturday, February 23rd, as part of the interview.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SWIM TEST:
Aquatics Guide Role - Applicants must be able to complete a
300 meter swim, 2 minute water tread without the use of hands, and be able to dive to a depth of 3-4 meters and retrieve a 10 lb. weight.
Lifeguard Roles - Applicants must be able to complete a 100 meter swim, 1 minute water tread without the use of hands, and be able to retrieve a weight from the bottom of the pool.
