2008 NCAA Women's Junkanoo Jam Basketball Tournament wraps up

Eight teams are on Grand Bahama Island to participate in the NCAA Women's Junkanoo Jam Basketball Tournament. This event, the 6th annual,  takes place at St. George's High School gymnasium from November 27 - 29th. Basketball fans are encouraged to come out and watch high calibre play at its best.

Visiting Teams: Oregon State, Florida, Southern Illinois, Hofstra, Arizona State, Arkansas, Pacific,  and UNC.

Florida Gators Guard Sha Brooks was named MVP for the Lucayan Division.

The Tournament is organized annually by Basketball Travellers.
