XXVIII CCCAN Swimming Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica Update
On day one,
Joanna Evans of Grand Bahama Island won gold for The Bahamas in the 800m free in 9:06.43s and followed with silver in
the 200m free in 2:07.64s at the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Championships (CCCAN).
Laura Morley opened day two with a gold for The Bahamas in the 200m breast in 2:46.41s and won silver in the 100m breast in 1:17.22s.
As of last night Bahamas has 7 medals, 2 golds and 5 silver. A 21-member team is at the event.
