Nassau, Bahamas - The  40th Annual RBC Bahamas Swimming Nationals took place in Nassau at the Betty Kelly Kenning National Aquatics Center from June 18th to the 21st.

The four-day meet was hosted by  the Bahamas Swimming Federation (BSF), and attracted a record number of participants this year.  The event qualifies swimmers for the upcoming regional and international meets over the summer, as well as the FINA World Championships to take place in Shanghai, China, from July 16th-31st .

Teams competing: Swift Swimming, Sea Bees Swim Club, Barracudas Swim Club, Dolphins Swim Club, Freeport Aquatics Club, Lucayan Lightening , Abaco Swim Club, and Blue Marlin Aquatics,  Team Orca, and Sea Waves Aquatic Team .

Some of those competing have already been selected to the 22 member Central American and Caribbean Swimming Federation (CCCAN) team which will take place from June 25-July 3, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
