Bahamas' Ariaana Vanderpool Wallace wins swimming silver in Scotland

Glasgow, SCOTLAND - Making Bahamian sporting history, Arianna Vanderpool Wallace won silver in the women's 50m butterfly final in 25.53 seconds making her the first  to receive a senior swimming medal for the Bahamas.
Airanna is a national-record holding and Olympic swimmer. She swam for the Bahamas at the 2008 Olympics. She swims collegiately in the USA for Auburn University.

Francesca Halsall of England won with 25.20 and Brittany Elmslie of Australia came third in 25.91.


The Games close on Sunday, August 3rd.
