Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace takes Gold for The Bahamas in Mexico

VERACRUZ, Mexico - The Central American and Caribbean Games’ (CAC) swim competition began November 15th in Veracruz, Mexico.
Arianna Vanderpool Wallace took The Bahamas first gold medal in the 50 M Butterfly with a time of 26.46.

This is the second medal for The Bahamas as Joanna Evans of The Bahamas (Grand Bahama) earned a silver (4:16.82) in the 400m Freestyle in Day
Bahamas' Matthew Lowe swam in the 200 Butterfly finishing 8th with a time of 2:06.47, Ariel Weech finished 7th in the 50 Back with a time of 30.73, Albury Higgs swam a personal best in the 100 Breast finishing in 4th place with a time of 1:14.06.

In later competition Joanna Evans was 6th in the 200M Freestyle swimming a time of 2:04.07, a Bahamas Record

Matthew Lowe finished 8th in the 1500M Freestyle with a time of
